A 52-year-old parking lot security guard in Burgas has been detained after attacking TikTok influencer Borislav Georgiev, known online as Bobko or “I am a kamikaze,” with a small axe. The incident took place on September 16 and has since drawn widespread attention both offline and on social media.

According to police reports, Georgiev, a 33-year-old resident of Sofia, began taking pictures of the security guard without his permission. This led to a heated exchange of words between the two men. In the course of the confrontation, the guard swung the axe, causing a superficial cut on Georgiev’s left thigh.

Authorities confirmed that Georgiev’s injury was minor and posed no risk to his life. The security guard was detained for 24 hours and later released. Pre-trial proceedings have been launched against him.

Background of the Conflict

The violent clash was the culmination of a long-standing dispute between the two. About six weeks earlier, Georgiev parked his car in front of the parking lot, blocking the path of buses. The guard reported the incident to municipal authorities, and the influencer’s vehicle was subsequently towed to a penal lot.

When Georgiev learned who had reported him, he confronted the guard in person and online. Their argument soon spilled onto TikTok, where the influencer’s followers closely followed the escalating feud. Over the following weeks, both sides exchanged verbal insults, further fueling tensions.

Police Intervention

Lyubomir Evtimov of the Burgas Regional Directorate of Internal Affairs explained to Nova TV that the official report described the incident as a “fight between two men.” He noted that during the altercation, the guard threatened Georgiev with the axe.

Evtimov added that the weapon was used primarily for intimidation. “The case has a history, and the conflict escalated into insults on social media. On September 16, the influencer went to the security guard and an exchange of obscene words began.

Then the parking attendant was prompted to go to the beach to resolve the dispute through a fight. This was too much for the security guard, who explained that the hatchet was for the purpose of intimidation, to stop the verbal attack. He did not mean to hurt him,” Evtimov said.

Social Media Impact

The incident has sparked widespread discussion online, particularly among Georgiev’s followers, many of whom criticized the escalation from verbal spats to physical violence. For others, the story underscores the risks of allowing online disputes to spill into real life.
