Today’s maximum temperatures will range from 2°-3° in western Bulgaria to 12° in the east, where a temporarily strong southeast wind is expected to prevail.
The day will see increasing cloud cover, with rain spreading from Western Bulgaria to Central Bulgaria by evening. In the western regions, the rain will gradually turn to snow as temperatures drop.
Southwestern Bulgaria and the southern parts of Haskovo and Kardzhali have been placed under a warning for heavy rainfall.

Rain will dominate much of the country, but the high plains of Western Bulgaria and the Fore-Balkans are expected to see snow or a mix of rain and snow.
