BURGAS, Bulgaria – Chernomorets Burgas delivered a powerful performance on Sunday, securing their fourth consecutive win in the Third League – Southeast division with a resounding 7-0 victory over Karnobat.

The match, held at the Ivan Pritergov Stadium, saw the Burgas-based footballers dominate from start to finish, displaying their attacking prowess and defensive solidity.

The match started with high intensity from Chernomorets, and it didn’t take long for them to break the deadlock.

In the 18th minute, striker Zhivko Petkov found the back of the net, opening the scoring with a well-placed shot that left Karnobat’s goalkeeper with no chance.

Petkov quickly doubled the lead just four minutes later, capitalizing on a defensive error to make it 2-0 in the 22nd minute.

Zhivko Petkov, who was already on a brace, completed his hat-trick in the 60th minute, showcasing his lethal finishing ability and putting Chernomorets 5-0 up.

The striker was the standout performer of the match, as he constantly troubled the opposition defense and proved to be a clinical presence in front of goal.

Chernomorets’ dominance continued, and in the 75th minute, Todor Chavorski made it 6-0 from the penalty spot after a handball in the box by a Karnobat defender.

Chavorski calmly converted the spot-kick, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way and adding to the visitors’ misery.

Four minutes later, Hidaet Hussein put the final touch on the rout with a superb individual effort in the 79th minute.

Hussein dribbled past two defenders before slotting the ball into the bottom corner, making it 7-0 and capping off a sensational performance by the Sharks.

Despite several more chances in the closing minutes, Chernomorets could not add to their tally. A series of missed opportunities in front of goal spared Karnobat from an even more humiliating defeat, as the scoreline could have easily reached double digits.

With this dominant victory, Chernomorets Burgas remains undefeated in the Third League – Southeast. They currently sit in second place in the standings with 12 points, just behind leaders Maritsa Plovdiv, who have a game in hand.

The Sharks have been in excellent form since the start of the season and will be looking to maintain their momentum in their upcoming fixtures.

Next, Chernomorets will face Sayana on September 4 in their Round 4 match. Fans will be hoping for another strong performance as the team continues its push for promotion.
