From the onset of December to April 15, Bansko witnessed a remarkable influx of visitors, resulting in over 656,000 overnight stays – a remarkable uptick compared to previous winter seasons.

Compared to the preceding winter, this year’s figures soared, boasting an increase of over 35,000 tourists and nearly 51,000 more overnight stays.

While the winter of 2021-2022 boasted marginally higher tourist numbers, the current season’s figures already paint a promising picture, with around 188,000 visitors gracing its snowy landscapes.

Bulgarian tourists formed the backbone of Bansko’s winter tourism, comprising a staggering 163,250 of the total visitors. Meanwhile, Greece contributed over 20,000 visits, highlighting Bansko’s appeal across borders.
