In a display of sheer determination and skill, the youngest wrestlers from Burgas have emerged triumphant in the recently concluded state individual wrestling championship.

Hailing from all three clubs in Burgas, these young athletes showcased their prowess on the carpet in Sliven, clinching an impressive total of 12 medals across both wrestling styles.

Leading the charge was Konstantin Spasov, whose remarkable performance earned him the prestigious championship title in the classical style, competing in the formidable category of over 59 kg.

Representing “Chernomorets – cl. and St. Borba,” Spasov’s gold medal victory in the first group underscored his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

Joining Spasov in the winner’s circle were his teammates Denislav Kirchev (38 kg), Georgi Todorov (59 kg), and Zlatomir Gospodinov (73 kg), each claiming bronze medals in the classics of the second group.
