The Bulgarian best ski jumper Vladimir Zografski achieved a second consecutive victory in a start from Gran on the chain. Tonight he triumphed at the slight chance in Schchirk (Poland) in the competition of big names in sports such as David Kubacki, Camil Stoch, Peter Gila, Machei Kot, Gregor Deschvander and Robert Johansson.
The Bulgarian ace collected 257.3 points and continues his excellent performance for the season after taking first place in the big chance race in Courchevel (France) last Sunday and finishing second the day earlier.
Zografski was ninth in the ranking after the first attempt, in which he overcame 97.5 meters for a total of 112.9 points. On his second jump, he was perfect, reaching 106.5 meters for another 144.4 points, bringing the total to 257.3.
The host’s representatives, Alexander Znischol and Peter Zila, finished second and third, respectively, with 253.5 and 252.9 points.
Zografski also won the qualification in Shchirk last night after receiving 138.8 points after an attempt of 105.5 points.
So the Bulgarian took the lead in the temporary ranking in Gran on the chain after the third round with 280 points. Second with 198 is Swiss Gregor Deshvanden, ahead of Alexander Znischol with 136 points.
Tomorrow in Shchirk (Poland), there is another race from the Grand Summer Ski Jumping chain.
