The European Digital Innovation Hub National Demo Center for Digital Solutions in Agriculture AgroHub.BG is opening its doors to all farmers who want technology and want to keep up with it! On April 25 /Tuesday/ at 10:30 am at Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute.
The official launch of demonstrations in the technologically equipped “smart” greenhouse with precision irrigation, nutrition and climate control system and over 300 varieties of tomatoes will take place on April 25.
Within the AgroDigiRise project under the Digital Europe program, Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute is being completely transformed. Visitors will see on-site how technologies work, meet with specialists, and build their digital skills with innovative and interactive training.
Already on the opening day of the National Demo Center, a series of valuable workshops on various topics related to the collection of spatial data by remote methods, mapping vegetation and using the results to make “smart decisions“, as well as recipes for precise tomato fertilization, depending on the plant development phase and the soil nutrient stock.
For the first time, the partners in the European digital innovation hub AgroHub. BG will demonstrate how all stakeholders will get free access to the latest agricultural digital solutions, expert services, valuable and up-to-date information, and partnership building, including international demonstrations and training.
A special panel of the event program will focus on critical moments of the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Regions of the Republic of Bulgaria and practical guidelines for using the investments envisaged in it.
This will be a different day with a rich programme of technology demonstrations, workshops, opportunities and top-level expertise. Apart from indispensable knowledge and skills for farmers’ work and business, on the opening day of the National Demo Center, by AgroHub. BG has also prepared many surprises for its guests.
Participation in the event is free, but with pre-registration, which can be done by April 21 on their official website.
