The Regional Council for Disaster Risk Reduction unanimously adopted the 2023 Annual Plan for implementation of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Program 2022-2025.

The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Council yesterday held a regular meeting chaired by the district governor. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Municipal Councils in the region, the directors of the OPU-Gabrovo, and the RZI-Gabrovo.

The other members who attended the meeting were the Regional Directorate of Food Safety, the Chief of the Vo-Gabrovo District; the Chief of RUO – Gabrovo; the Chief of the VC Ltd – Gabrovo Regional Directorate of PBZN, the CSMP of the North Central Forestry Enterprise, of the Municipal Administration, of the ERP North – ROC Gabrovo.

The adoption of the 2023 Annual Plan was included in the agenda. For implementing the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Program 2022-2025. of the Gabrovo region and adopting the Municipal Program of the Municipality of Gabrovo to reduce the risk of disasters 2023-2025. , which were passed unanimously.

During the meeting, the process of drafting the annual reports for municipalities was also discussed. The deadline for their composition is the end of April t. g. , and on the district report – until the end of May 2023.

On the other hand, Christina Sidorova, Regional Governor of Gabrovo District, congratulated medical students on April 7 – World Health Day and a professional holiday for healthcare workers.
