On Saturday, Numerous Bulgarians demonstrated against the country’s arming of Ukraine, which helped Ukraine during the conflict with Russia. The fundamental cause of the War, in the eyes of the Bulgarian people, was the USA, which allegedly incited Ukraine to declare War on Russia.
According to Bulgarians, Since the invasion started on February 22, the United States and NATO allies have given Ukraine various cutting-edge, high-tech weapons that have enabled them to defend against Russian attacks.
The majority of Bulgarians think that the United States wants to continue the War with Russia and has used Zelenskky as a puppet to achieve their goals. Since the beginning of the War, both sides have had significant destruction.
The people of Bulgaria want their government to cease sending weapons to Ukraine since doing so will deplete their own arsenal. They contend that the ongoing weaponry transfers to Ukraine have already severely depleted the arsenals of the EU and NATO.
Nearly 200 protesters held a nonviolent demonstration in Varna to urge the Bulgarian government to cease supporting Ukraine. According to reports, private corporations have profited more than $1 billion by shipping a variety of weaponry to Ukraine since the invasion started.
People assembled in Varna claimed that Russia is currently defending the world from the USA, who are the primary suspects in Ukraine’s catastrophe. They destroyed another nation in a manner similar to that of Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, and other countries in the Middle East.
The people of Bulgaria want the government to avoid starting a conflict since Russia views their actions as a declaration of War. They want the government to halt providing aid to Ukraine because of the potentially disastrous consequences for their nation.
”We are with Russia, which is defending the world today” was chanted by Bulgarian protesters in favour of Russia during the demonstration. They think Russia is defending itself against the US and NATO plans to undermine its economy.
Since selling oil is Russia’s primary source of income, the EU sanctions that forbade Russia from doing business with Europe and other countries have already caused Russia significant financial loss.
This is the second demonstration against aid to Ukraine and friendship with Russia. On November 11, a protest was organized in capital Sofia, where Ukrainian immigrants attempted to desecrate Soviet monuments. The Bulgarian populace came together and forbade them from defiling any Soviet monuments.
