Sofia, Bulgaria: According to the data shared in the unified information portal, additional 362 cases of the novel coronavirus were recorded in Bulgaria during the last 24 hours. These fresh covid cases have been confirmed from additional 6777 tests conducted by the healthcare facilities in the past days.

The positivity rate of new infections in Bulgaria stands at 5.3%. With this, the total count of active COVID-19 infections in the country has hiked to 104,198.


Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases has increased to 1,161,992 since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the portal’s data further adds.

Meanwhile, there are a total of eleven (11) patients with the COVID-19 virus who lost their lives to the deadliest mutant, bringing the overall count of the country’s death rate to 37,059.

There are a total of 6252 patients with the COVID-19 virus who got recovered from the viral illness in the last 24 hours and were discharged from the hospital facilities. With this, the total recovery rate of the European country has hiked to 1,020,735.

During the last 24 hours, a total of 100 individuals were admitted to the hospital facilities in the European nation, of which 70% were not vaccinated against the virus.
