Sofia, Bulgaria: In Bulgaria, a total of 523 additional cases of the COVID-19 virus were reported by the Ministry of Health in its unified information portal as of March 14, 2022. This brings the total count of the active novel coronavirus cases in the European country to 199 087, witnessing a decrease of 243 margins as compared to that of the previous day.Â
The total number of the COVID-19 confirmed cases has now increased to 1 112 176, as per the data.Â
The official portal’s data further states a total of fifteen (15) people lost their lives to the deadliest COVID-19 pandemic, taking the total toll of the COVID-19 related fatalities to 36 084, as per the official portal. Â
Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, there are a total of 1246 patients of the COVID-19 viral disease have recovered from the virus. With these recoveries, the total count of the COVID-19 recoveries has increased to 877 005.Â
For the present time, there are a total of 2575 COVID-19 patients who are in the hospital facilities of Bulgaria, out of which ninety-three (93) individuals are newly admitted, the data of the report further states.Â
The health ministry of the country informed that there are a total of 345 patients who are at the present time in the intensive care unit. This number is lower by 1 number as compared to the report of March 13, 2022.Â
