Four separate road accidents were reported in the Burgas region over a span of just two days, with police citing speeding, alcohol use, and driver inexperience as major contributing factors. Two of the incidents involved female drivers, one of whom was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

The first accident occurred early on the morning of May 31, around 05:16 a.m., on Todor Aleksandrov Street, in the right lane of the Yug interchange toward Meden Rudnik. A 25-year-old woman with only two years of driving experience, driving a Ford Mustang registered in Burgas, lost control of her vehicle due to excessive speed and alcohol impairment.

The car crashed without involving other vehicles. The driver sustained non-life-threatening chest injuries and was admitted to Burgas University Hospital. A breathalyzer test showed 1.29‰ of alcohol in her system. Authorities also tested for narcotics, though no further information on drug results was released.

Later that same day, at 12:45 p.m., a second incident occurred on Deseti Kongres Street in front of house No. 8 in Sungurlare. A 24-year-old man from the nearby village of Grozden was behind the wheel of a Mercedes C 350 D when he crashed into a stone wall and wire fence.

Police determined he had been driving at a speed inconsistent with the road conditions, which led to a loss of control. He suffered minor bruises and was treated and released for home recovery. An alcohol test recorded 0.19‰, slightly under the legal threshold but still noted by police.

The third accident took place on June 1, at 3:38 p.m., on Chataldzha Street in Burgas. A 56-year-old woman from Burgas, driving an Audi A4, veered off the road and collided with a tree opposite house No. 59, near the intersection with General Vladimir Vazov Street.

Both the driver and her 78-year-old female passenger from the village of Rosen sustained chest and abdominal injuries. They were taken to the second surgery ward at the University Hospital in Burgas for treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the crash, but early indications point to a possible loss of control.

Just 22 minutes later, another crash was reported in the village of Banya, Nessebar municipality, at 4:00 p.m., on Mikhail Gerdzhikov Street, near house number 38.

A 39-year-old man, traveling from Varna to Burgas with his wife and five-year-old son in a Volkswagen Golf, lost control of the vehicle due to speeding and poor road conditions. The car struck a roadside sign and a tree. All three occupants were treated for minor injuries and released for home care.
