Castries, Saint Lucia: The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority yesterday announced the return of the immensely successful ‘Say Yes to Saint Lucia’ Global Romance Summit in 2023, following the resounding success of its inaugural edition.
Ernest Hilare, Deputy Minister and Minister of Tourism of Saint Lucia shared the details of the summit through his official Facebook account, mentioning that the summit will begin tomorrow.
The Say Yes to Saint Lucia Global Romance Summit, scheduled from October 5 to 9, 2023, is a platform to spotlight the creative sector of Saint Lucia and foster an environment for planning and innovation.
The Tourism Ministry of Saint Lucia invited every resident to join the summit on Market Street at the Harbor Club from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on October 7, 2023.
The summit was held for the first time from October 13 to 17 last year, and it was a great success. The summit will resume this year, and travel advisors from Saint Lucia’s top global markets will be welcomed to the Helen of the West Indies.
The objective of the event is to give travel industry participants a chance to experience all the romantic offerings of the island nation.
The approach will encourage the participants to strongly recommend Saint Lucia as a perfect destination for marriage proposals, destination weddings, intimate vow renewals, adventurous, romantic getaways, or honeymoons – all of which the island is famous for.
Saint Lucia has been awarded the title of ‘World’s Leading Honeymoon Destination’ 14 times and for five consecutive years since 2018: rainforest, towering mountains, and vibrant local communities.
This made Saint Lucia a perfect destination for honeymooners worldwide. The beautiful landscapes of the island act like a magnet for couples seeking romantic getaways.
