For more powerful laptops, Intel has just announced its new 11th Gen processors. Dell is ready with refreshed versions of its XPS 15 and XPS 17 laptops with the new chip and Nvidia’s latest RTX 30-series laptop GPUs. The new models are virtually the same on the outside as the substantial 2020 fresh to better match Dell’s popular XPS 13 design saw the redesign for the 15-inch model and reintroduction of the largest 17-inch size.

Dell XPS 15 specifications –

  • Runs up to Windows 10 Pro.
  • With a 16:10 aspect ratio features a 15.6-inch display.
  • It can be equipped with either of three display options. 1st option is a full-HD+ (1,920×1,080 pixels) panel with 500 nits peak brightness and 100 percent sRGB coverage. The 2nd option is a 3.5K (3,456×2,160 pixels) OLED touch display with DisplayHDR 500TB, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, 400 nits peak brightness, a 176-degree viewing angle, and a 1,00,000:1 contrast ratio. The 3rd option is a 4K UHD+ (3,840×2,400 pixels) touch display with 500 nits peak brightness, DisplayHDR 400 certification, a 1,600:1 contrast ratio, 100 percent Adobe RGB, 99 percent DCI-P3 typical, and a 178-degree wide viewing angle.
  • Under the hood is powered by up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU and up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900H CPU with 45W power output and 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
  • Up to 4TB PCIe 4×4 SSD storage options are there.
  • A quad-speaker design is there in the laptop that includes two 1.5W tweeters and two 2.5W woofers.
  • They have been tuned by Waves Nx 3D audio and Waves MaxxAudio Pro.
  • For connectivity, two a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 3.5mm headphone combo jack, and a full-sized SD card reader.
  • It also comes with Bluetooth v5.1 and Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650.
  • There are options between a 56Whr and an 86Whr battery that is not replaceable.

Dell XPS 17 specifications –

  • Comes with a 17-inch display that can either be 4K UHD+ (3,840×2,400 pixels) or full-HD+ (1,920×1,200 pixels).
  • The full-HD+ option comes with a 1,650:1 contrast ratio, 500 nits peak brightness, and 100 percent sRGB coverage. The 4K panel comes with a touch display with 500 nits of peak brightness, a 1,600:1 contrast ratio, DisplayHDR 400 certification, and 100 percent Adobe RGB, 99 percent DCI-P3.
  • Under the hood, it can be equipped with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU and up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11980HK CPU with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
  • Storage and Ram options are the same as Dell XPS 15, as well as speaker set up.
  • For connectivity, there is a 3.5mm headphone combo jack and four Thunderbolt 4 ports.
  • Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 and Bluetooth v5.1 are there.
  • It comes with a 97Whr battery.
